My family proudly joins the entire military community in tribute to those who have served — and those who serve today — to protect our freedoms and keep our nation great.
Oh..how my heart sinks when I look at this photo, but it also swells with great pride.
If you know/see a Veteran today-please thank him/her for their service and wish them a Happy Veteran's day. Also, say a prayer for those who won't get to thank their loved one, as they have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our great country.

We had our Veterans' Day celebration today at school...our friend Mr. Kadera was going to join us, but his foot was bothering him. David's pic & poster are still in the display case, just marked "Welcome Home!" We had about 50 veterans who spoke & walked in our parade...it's always a special day!
